Axwell returns to Axtone with ‘Until The Lights Go Out

Axwell sold Axtone to Pophouse Entertainment. He stays on as Founding Partner and Creative Advisor. Now he’s back on the label himself. ‘Until The Lights Go Out’ lands 16 May with CARMA — the project of James Carter and Tom Martin. It’s his first solo single there in seven years, since 2018’s ‘Nobody Else.’

The track is hedonistic, raw, built for a floor at its peak. Heavy kicks. A driving synth line. Melodic, progressive, with euphoric builds and warm vocals from CARMA. It’s the kind of record made to carry a set from sunset into peak time, and it premiered live at Ultra Europe the year before, drawing plenty of interest.

Axwell’s return puts the label boss back in the fold right as Axtone turns 20. Stream ‘Until The Lights Go Out’ below, out now in 2025.
