Andrew Dum releases ‘Kuya’ on Sounds of Matinée

Andrew Dum released ‘Kuya’ on 23 May, a two-track single on Sounds of Matinée.

The single follows ‘Les Djinns’ on Sounds of Matinée, the label he has now released with more than once. It lands in two forms — a radio edit a little over three minutes long and a fuller six-minute cut — carried by a rhythm rooted in African percussion, laid over a warm, summer-ready groove.

On Hypeddit’s global Afro Melodic chart, ‘Kuya’ has already reached second place, in a lane blending house melody with Afro rhythm that has become Dum’s signature. RÜFÜS DU SOL and Armin van Buuren are among the names who keep his tracks in international rotation.

Andrew Dum keeps busy off the release calendar too, with a weekly radio slot on Rin Italia Network and a monthly residency on Maxximum Radio, alongside regular guest sets on FG Radio.
