Armin van Buuren’s seventh album Balance is out on Armada Music Albums

Armin van Buuren’s seventh studio album ‘Balance’ is out today through Armada Music Albums. During his main stage set at Electric Zoo’s 2019 edition, he announced that an LP would follow ‘Moons of Jupiter’. It arrives out of a year of unusually heavy activity from his camp; at the start of it he said he had never made so much music in his life.

Van Buuren has been named DJ Mag’s number one DJ in the world in five separate years across a career now past two decades, and he built a substantial business around the music in the same period. Armada Music, his own label, remains one of the largest independent operations of its kind.

‘Embrace’ had taken him into styles some diehards were never going to love, and ‘Moons of Jupiter’ ranged across trance, techno and progressive. If the older trance classics are what you come to him for, that was already answered by the debut album he and Benno de Goeij put out under their Gaia alias.
