Innellea’s debut album The Belonging is out now on [PIAS] Électronique

Innellea’s debut album, The Belonging, is out now on [PIAS] Électronique.

The record marks Innellea’s first release in 23 months, and also his first on [PIAS] Électronique, the label marking that debut. Both firsts land on the same record. He has been releasing since 2016, a run now extended onto a new label.

Opening on percussion and understated keys, the album builds into denser synth and bass work behind Innellea’s own vocals. It’s framed as a concept record, built around moving through a difficult stretch toward something more open. The material spans beyond club-only listening, running to fifteen tracks. A global tour is planned to follow it, and [PIAS] Électronique’s roster has also carried Acid Arab, BLAKE REYES, and Natascha Polké.

The tracklist opens with Where Do I Belong?Flowdan joins on Forward Forever, and Monolink and CamelPhat both feature together on Shelter. Karin Park and Yubik turn up on Tårar, and Colyn and Braev feature on Downfall. Aparde closes the record itself on There’s Another Me.
