Ultra Europe reveals its first wave of names for 2018

Ultra Europe has put out the first wave of names for its 2018 lineup, with the festival’s sixth edition set for July 6–8 at Poljud Stadium in Split, Croatia.

Most of the names are familiar faces returning to the same stage — the likes of Afrojack, Alesso, Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Galantis, Hardwell and Steve Angello — but three are headlining for the first time. The Chainsmokers called it their third trip to the festival, saying they’re “blessed to be invited back as headliners this year,” and they’ll share the top of the bill with fellow first-timers Eric Prydz and Marshmello.

Carl Cox and Marco Carola return too, both back to headline RESISTANCE, the festival’s dedicated techno stage within the main event.

The week-long Destination Ultra run also comes back, a string of parties and side events built around the festival weekend that stretches from July 5 through July 11 this year.

Tickets for the 2018 edition are already on sale, and prices are set to climb the closer the festival gets.
