ANOTR shares Out Of My Head

No Art is behind ANOTR’s next move, and it keeps things close to home. ‘Out of My Head’ is out now via No Art, released on 15 October, and it lands as the duo’s first new material there, following Withness, their previous release on the same imprint. This one keeps that run going — a club single, aimed squarely at the floor. ANOTR have called No Art home since 2017.

Built around a guitar line that leans disco-funk, the track loops something bright and insistent under everything stacked above it. It doesn’t rush anywhere, content to ride that one guitar figure while the vocals do the lifting on top of it. Those vocal layers rise through the loop, euphoric in the way they gather and climb, stacking into something wide and hands-lifted that gives the chorus its lift. The groove holding it together stays quite soulful and infectious throughout, sitting warm right alongside the vocals. By the last bar, the same guitar hook that opened the track is still the one carrying it, clean and steady all the way out.
